Founded by Pastor Daryl Harris with a vision to serve and strengthen the community through faith-driven outreach, the church has grown from ten members in the Harris home to a thriving congregation of nearly 160. Beyond worship, Bethesda provides spiritual nourishment alongside practical community support including workshops, voter registration, a food pantry, tutoring programs, and enrichment activities. The church emphasizes prayer, Scripture, and service across multiple ministries including youth, men's, women's, and seniors groups, while also fostering financial literacy, parenting support, and life skills development for families and individuals throughout the region.
