About First Christian Church
First Christian Church in Sparks is a Disciples of Christ congregation rooted in a tradition spanning over 170 years and numbering more than a million members across America. The church welcomes visitors and new members to explore their faith within a growing community of believers spanning infants to seniors. As Disciples, the congregation affirms core convictions including Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, the open practice of Communion celebrated weekly in worship, and baptism by immersion.
