About Pilgrim United Church-Christ
Pilgrim United Church of Christ in Brentwood, New Hampshire, is a progressive Open and Affirming congregation in the United Church of Christ denomination. The church welcomes all people regardless of sexual orientation, identity, race, ability, economic status, or previous religious affiliation, making explicit that whoever you are and wherever you are on life's journey, you belong here. Worship takes place Sunday mornings at 10:00 AM in their historic meeting house, with live streaming available on Facebook, and includes the participation of young people, weekly choir music, and a Tone Chime choir. Beyond worship, Pilgrim is actively engaged in the community through support of Seacoast Family Promise, housing a food pantry, hosting community dinners and monthly Sunday breakfasts, and maintaining an exciting partnership with a sister church in Zimbabwe. The congregation seeks to live out its commitment to active justice, extravagant welcome, and inclusive love through faith, worship, and service.
