About Bristol United Church of Christ
Bristol United Church of Christ, located in Bristol, New Hampshire, is a welcoming faith community with deep historical roots tracing back to 1801 when Methodist circuit riders inspired the formation of a class that eventually became the Methodist Church. The Congregational Church was formally organized in 1826, and after decades of cooperation, the two congregations united in 1969 to form a union church. In 2006, the church strengthened its commitment to the United Church of Christ tradition.
