About South Church
South Congregational Church is an Open and Affirming United Church of Christ congregation located at 27 Pleasant Street in Concord, New Hampshire, dedicated to creating an inclusive, accessible, and racially just community of faith. Under the pastoral leadership of Rev. Dr. Beth Donaldson, the church welcomes people of all backgrounds, faith traditions, ages, abilities, and sexual orientations. Sunday worship takes place at 10:00 a.m. from September through June, with services held both in person and online, followed by refreshments and conversation in the Fellowship Hall. Dress Code: Come as you are—the church emphasizes being free to be yourself. Service Format: Sunday worship runs from 10:00-11:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary with in-person and online options; children participate in the service and then move to Church School or Kids' Club following the Children's Message, with refreshments offered afterward at 11:15 a.m. Visitor Tips: Free on-street parking is available throughout the neighborhood on Sundays, with handicapped spaces in the lot on the east side of the church and additional Sunday parking behind the Phenix Mutual Insurance Building across the street.
