About Congregational Church
The Congregational Church of Hollis is a welcoming mid-size congregation of the United Church of Christ located at the center of Hollis, New Hampshire, about six miles west of Nashua and 45 minutes north of Boston. Sunday worship services are held at 9:30 a.m. year-round in a traditional format featuring hymns, liturgy, prayers, anthems, scripture, and sermon, typically lasting 60-70 minutes. The church is deeply committed to serving families and youth, offering Sunday school and nursery care for children from pre-K through sixth grade during the program year, as well as a Journey to Confirmation program for older youth. The congregation celebrates an Open and Affirming covenant and welcomes all people regardless of their background or life journey. In addition to regular Sunday services, the church observes special worship occasions including Ash Wednesday, Easter sunrise services, Christmas Eve celebrations, and monthly communion. The church building is fully handicapped accessible with an elevator serving all levels and multiple entrance options.
