About Parish of the Transfiguration

The Parish of the Transfiguration is a welcoming Roman Catholic community serving the greater Manchester area, formed through the merger of three parishes in 2002 and 2007. Worship takes place in the former St. John the Baptist church building constructed in 1964, with ongoing Christian formation and parish activities held in the Parish Center on Kelley Street. The parish is led by Pastor Very Rev. Christopher Martel and Pastor Rev. Eric Ouellette, offering weekend and weekday masses along with the sacraments and various ministries including faith formation, outreach programs, and a parish nurse program affiliated with CMC hospital. The community is rooted in Catholic tradition and centered on spiritual growth, sacramental life, and transforming faith into action and outreach to the greater Manchester community.
