About Saint Anselm Abbey
Saint Anselm Abbey is a Benedictine monastery on the campus of Saint Anselm College in Manchester, New Hampshire. Benedictines came to New Hampshire from Newark, New Jersey, in 1889, and the Abbey’s monks are members of the Order of Saint Benedict. The community has thirty monks who live on the college campus and gather in the Abbey Church for daily prayer and worship. The monks pray and celebrate the Liturgy of the Hours and the Liturgy of the Eucharist, and these public liturgies are open to members of the Saint Anselm community and to the general public.
