About Parish of Saint Monica
The Parish of Saint Monica is a vibrant and diverse Roman Catholic community serving all of Atlantic City, New Jersey, encompassing three historic churches: Our Lady Star of the Sea, Saint Michael, and Saint Nicholas of Tolentine. Founded in 2015 through the union of four Catholic parishes, the parish is dedicated to faithful worship, community outreach, and spiritual growth while honoring the unique traditions of its Hispanic, Vietnamese, and Black Catholic communities. The parish maintains a strong commitment to serving those in need and sponsors Our Lady Star of the Sea School, the only Catholic school on Absecon Island. With over 1,200 registered families, the Parish of Saint Monica welcomes all to experience meaningful worship and fellowship rooted in the Gospel and the traditions of the Catholic faith.
