About Saint Mary's Church
Saint Mary's Church, located in Barnegat, New Jersey, is a Catholic parish with roots extending back to 1907, when the first mass was celebrated in a parishioner's home with fourteen attendees. The parish was officially incorporated in 1942 and has grown to include two worship locations: the main church on West Bay Avenue in Barnegat and Saint Mary of the Pines in Manahawkin. The church offers multiple daily masses throughout the week, weekend services, sacramental confession, perpetual adoration in a dedicated chapel, and a variety of faith-based ministries including youth programs, bereavement support through Seasons of Hope, and community outreach through Saint Vincent de Paul. Saint Mary's serves as both a spiritual home and active community hub, welcoming visitors to participate in traditional Catholic worship and parish life.
