About Garden State Sikh Association
The Garden State Sikh Association in Basking Ridge is a welcoming community dedicated to serving Sikh families across New Jersey. Founded in 1974, the organization has grown from small gatherings in members' homes to a thriving congregation housed in a modern facility with a Darbar hall, Khalsa School, library, and langar hall. The association honors the Sikh tradition of service and spiritual practice, welcoming visitors of all backgrounds to experience the faith and community. Located at 977 Washington Valley Road, the gurdwara serves as a spiritual center where the community gathers for worship, learning, and shared meals. The congregation values respect for the Guru Granth Sahib and maintains a peaceful, inclusive environment for all who visit.
