Seeds of Service in Brick Township is a community service organization with roots in faith-based ministry, emerging from relief efforts following Hurricane Sandy in 2012. Originally established as the Visitation Relief Center through Visitation Roman Catholic Church, the organization evolved into an independent nonprofit dedicated to addressing both disaster recovery and ongoing community needs in Ocean County. Operating from Monday through Friday to serve working families, Seeds of Service provides 28 free services across three departments—Outreach, Sustainability, and Development—with a focus on improving access to assistance and resources for those facing adversity. The organization has made substantial impact, assisting over 6,300 people, rebuilding nearly 300 households, and mobilizing more than 372,000 volunteer hours in its service area.
