About Brookside Community Church
Brookside Community Church is a United Church of Christ congregation located in Brookside, New Jersey, in the heart of Morris County. The church describes itself as a faithfully inviting, inclusive, intergenerational community that welcomes believers, doubters, and searchers from across the theological spectrum, including people of faith from a broad mix of religious backgrounds. As an Open and Affirming congregation, Brookside celebrates the worth and dignity of every person and welcomes individuals of every background, race, gender identity and expression, family structure, and sexual orientation into the full life and leadership of the church. Sunday worship is held at 9:30 a.m. both in person and online, with services that intentionally include people of all ages and abilities through diverse music, modern Bible translations, and intergenerational worship practices. The church welcomes all people to participate in worship and Communion, and provides gluten-free bread and grape juice for those observing the sacrament.
