About Union Hill Presbyterian Church
Union Hill Presbyterian Church, established in 1860 and located at 427 Franklin Road in Denville, New Jersey, welcomes visitors into a warm and inclusive community. The church traces its roots to Union Chapel, worshipping in a schoolhouse before moving to the current building in 1899. With a mission rooted in hearing God's call through the Holy Spirit to nurture all in the love of Jesus Christ, Union Hill offers diverse opportunities for worship, study, fellowship, and volunteer service. The congregation features a music ministry with regular choir participation, special seasonal services including outdoor worship, and community engagement through various ministries. Children are warmly welcomed, with nursery care available for infants and toddlers, and Sunday School classes for elementary and middle school students.

Dress Code: You are invited to dress as you feel comfortable; a variety of styles from suits and ties to jeans and casual shirts are observed. Service Format: Worship is held on Sunday mornings at 9:00 am and usually lasts about one hour, with youth departing after an opening time with their families to attend Sunday School classes. The Lord's Supper is typically celebrated on the first Sunday of each month, Christmas Eve, Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, and other special occasions throughout the year. Visitor Tips: Guests will not be singled out during the service; you are welcome to introduce yourself at Coffee Hour following worship in the education building.
