About Mount Zion United Methodist Church
Mount Zion United Methodist Church, located in Lawnside, New Jersey, is a historic congregation with roots extending back to 1815 when twelve members separated from Mt. Pisgah Methodist Episcopal Church to remain within the Methodist Episcopal Church structure. The church has served its community for nearly two centuries, with the current building, constructed in 1905, designated as Historic Site #174 in the United Methodist Church Worldwide Archival Directory. Led by Pastor Clifford L. Still, Sr., the congregation is dedicated to developing disciples of Jesus Christ and creating transformational leaders committed to spiritual growth and community service. Mount Zion welcomes visitors to participate in its diverse ministries and extends an invitation to all who seek to grow spiritually and connect with a faith community rooted in Methodist tradition and social responsibility.
