About Kimisis Tis Theotokou Greek
Kimisis Tis Theotokou is a Greek Orthodox parish in Holmdel, New Jersey, serving over 400 families of diverse ages and backgrounds. Founded in 1973 by a small group of devoted families, the church building was completed in 1988 and consecrated in 2007, with a community center added in 1999. The parish is active in preserving Greek Orthodox faith, language, and culture through worship, education, and community events, including an annual Greek Festival and Greek language school for children beginning at age seven. Led by Archimandrite Avgoustinos Psomas, the community welcomes visitors to join in Sunday worship and participate in its various ministries and organizations for youth and adults.
