About St. Andrew's Episcopal Church
St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Lincoln Park is a small, friendly parish of more than 60 households with worshippers from several neighboring communities representing all age groups. Since 2009, the church has been linked with Church of the Transfiguration in Towaco in an innovative shared ministry model, allowing both parishes to strengthen programs while sharing resources, leadership, and a Rector. The church welcomes visitors and newcomers with particular intentionality, opening its doors in the name of Christ to those seeking counsel, rest, companionship, comfort, or spiritual guidance. St. Andrew's offers regular Sunday worship, church school for children from pre-school through eighth grade, an adult choir, and numerous community outreach activities including support for the local food pantry and St. John's Soup Kitchen. The parish nurtures fellowship through coffee hours, potluck suppers, picnics, and seasonal programs during Advent and Lent.
