Young Israel of Aberdeen - Congregation Bet Tefilah is an Orthodox Jewish synagogue located in Aberdeen, New Jersey, serving the Aberdeen, Hazlet, Holmdel, and Morganville communities since 1979. Under the leadership of Rabbi Yaakov Tesser, the congregation maintains strong Orthodox standards while fostering a warm and vibrant community through daily minyanim, extensive Torah classes, and the active night Kollel program. The shul offers a variety of learning opportunities including Halachic shiurim, Talmud and Halacha classes, and the popular Thursday night Parsha class. Beyond study, the congregation hosts community events, sponsorships for Kiddush, and is supported by an active Sisterhood engaged in year-round fundraising and social gatherings.
