About Newman Catholic Center
Newman Catholic Center at Montclair State University is a vibrant Catholic community with roots dating back to 1950, when it began as the Newman Club. Over the decades, it has evolved into a full campus ministry staffed by priests, missionaries, and lay leaders dedicated to serving students. The center emphasizes prayer and spiritual growth at the heart of its mission, offering daily Mass, confession, and Eucharistic adoration to foster a deeper relationship with God. Red Hawk Catholic has earned recognition as a Class I Organization, reflecting its integral role in campus life and its commitment to helping students grow into all that God has created them to be.

Service Format: Daily Mass is offered at varying times throughout the week, with Sunday Mass at 5:00 PM in the Student Center and additional opportunities for confession and Holy Hour of Adoration throughout the week.
