About Chosen Generation Ministries
Chosen Generation Ministries is a non-denominational church located in Newark, New Jersey, dedicated to winning souls and changing lives for the Kingdom of God. Founded in 1999 by Pastor Darrin Monroe, the ministry grew out of an outreach community choir that began in 1990, serving the tristate area through street ministry, prison outreach, hospital visits, and work with homeless shelters. The church celebrates diversity and offers congregants a place of comfort, hope, and peace of mind through heartfelt worship, relevant ministry, and sound biblical teaching. With a vision to create an atmosphere for the lost, broken-hearted, and forgotten, Chosen Generation Ministries welcomes visitors to experience their growing congregation and become part of their community focused on healing and restoring lives.
