About New Christian Tabernacle
New Christian Tabernacle, located in the heart of Paterson at the intersection of Madison Avenue and Market Street, is a Church of God in Christ congregation that has been serving the community since 1973. What began as a small storefront church has grown into one of the area's most beautiful worship spaces under the pastoral leadership of Dr. Arthur J. Farrar Jr. and Rev. Mildred Farrar. The church emphasizes "Faith in Action," designing every service to enhance spiritual growth and lift up the Lord through words, songs, and personal involvement. Beyond Sunday worship, the Tabernacle offers youth ministries through the Praise Place, choirs for all ages led by renowned musicians, and community outreach programs including a reading and literacy club.
