About Zion Tabernacle of Praise
Zion Tabernacle of Praise is a non-denominational church in Piscataway with a contemporary worship style. Founded in January 2000 by Reverend Ruth A. Harley-Boyd, the church began with its first service on the 7th Day Sabbath in Pastor Ruth’s home after she left Shiloh Pentecostal Church in Somerville. In 2006, the congregation moved to the historic First Baptist Church of New Market in Piscataway. Pastor Ruth A. Harley-Boyd continues to lead the church, whose vision is to zealously proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ and equip disciples. Zion Tabernacle of Praise also offers children’s ministry and a youth group.
