About Christ Congregation
Christ Congregation is a boldly progressive, radically-inclusive, justice-seeking community of faith located in the heart of Princeton, New Jersey. Rooted in the spirit of Jesus and affiliated with the United Church of Christ, the Alliance of Baptists, and the American Baptist Church, this congregation welcomes people of all ages, social locations, identities, and abilities. As the first church in Princeton to declare itself open and affirming in 1997, Christ Congregation celebrates those of all races, sexualities, and gender identities as beloved children of God. The community gathers for worship on alternating Sunday schedules, with additional weekly prayer and discussion gatherings, and emphasizes lifelong learning about scripture and faith. Believing that God is still speaking, they are committed to creating God's beloved community through healing, justice, and authentic spiritual growth.
