About Middlebush Reformed Church
Middlebush Reformed Church in Somerset is a Reformed congregation with the stated mission “to know God’s love through Christ and to make that love known to others.” Organized as a Dutch Reformed Church on March 19, 1834, the congregation has a long local history. After its original church building was destroyed by fire on July 2, 1917, services continued every Sunday without interruption. The congregation also purchased the current parsonage, known as the Totten House, in 1992. Today, Middlebush continues to gather for in-person worship with masks optional.
