About Our Lady of the Angels Parish
Our Lady of the Angels Parish in Trenton, New Jersey is a vibrant multicultural Roman Catholic community created in 2005 through the merger of two historic churches: Immaculate Conception Church, established in 1875, and St. Joachim Parish, founded in 1901. With roots deeply planted in immigrant communities from Italy, Germany, Ireland, and Eastern Europe, the parish has evolved to welcome families from Central and South America, the Caribbean, and beyond while honoring its rich cultural heritage. The parish operates two centenary church buildings in the Chambersburg section and offers daily and weekend Masses in both English and Spanish, along with adoration, reconciliation, and various community ministries. Under the pastoral leadership of Reverend Carlos Aguirre, the parish strives to be a welcoming place of worship and friendship grounded in faith, education, and service to all.
