About Congregation Bethel
Congregation Bethel is an egalitarian, diverse, and inclusive Conservative Jewish congregation located in Voorhees, New Jersey, affiliated with the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism. The congregation describes itself as a warm and welcoming spiritual home where people of all generations are enriched through learning and inspired to discover their personal experience of Jewish life. Beth El offers a variety of worship opportunities throughout the week, including daily minyans, Shabbat services with musical Kabbalat Shabbat on Friday evenings, and Saturday morning services featuring a Torah service. The community is actively engaged in service-oriented activities, including a Bikur Cholim committee that provides comfort and support to congregants who are ill, homebound, or experiencing loss.
