About Saint Timothy Lutheran Church
Saint Timothy Lutheran Church has served the Wayne community since 1957 as a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), one of the largest Christian denominations in the United States. The congregation gathers weekly to hear God's word proclaimed and to receive Holy Communion at the altar, rooted in five centuries of Lutheran reformation tradition and nearly twenty-one centuries of Christian history. In addition to weekly worship, Saint Timothy offers Christian education for all ages and participates in a variety of service programs serving Wayne and the wider community. Led by Pastor Kimberly Schmidt Cooper since January 2021, the church welcomes visitors to join their fellowship of faith and invites you to experience their worship and community life.
