About Zion Lutheran Church
Zion Lutheran Church, founded in 1905 in Westwood, New Jersey, is a member congregation of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. The church building, erected in 1923 and enlarged in 1955, serves as the spiritual home for a community dedicated to introducing people to Jesus Christ and strengthening their faith through traditional worship and robust community ministries. Zion is deeply committed to serving both its congregation and the broader community through programs including a food pantry, support for a men's shelter, creative outreach through its Crafters ministry, and an Early Childhood Center serving children ages two and a half through pre-kindergarten. The church welcomes visitors to experience the power of standing, singing, and praying with fellow Christians in a welcoming environment.
