The Carlsbad Outreach Center is a Baptist mission operated by the Pecos Valley Baptist Association, dedicated to serving low-income families and those experiencing emergency situations in Carlsbad, New Mexico. Located at 1318 Mermod, the center is staffed entirely by volunteers who distribute standardized food boxes containing essential staples like pasta, canned vegetables, fruits, and proteins to 100-150 families each month. The center also provides clothing assistance and welcomes donations of nonperishable foods, used clothing in good condition, Bibles, toiletries, blankets, and winter coats from churches, individuals, and civic groups throughout the Carlsbad area. Beyond material aid, volunteers serve as greeters, process donations, and share faith with clients. This outreach ministry reflects the Baptist commitment to community compassion and practical service to those in need.
