About First Christian Church
First Christian Church in Deming, New Mexico is a welcoming Christian community with deep roots in the area, having been founded in 1953 by a small group of 76 people committed to building a New Testament community. The church relocated to its current location at the corner of Curtis and Staley Roads in 2003 and has since grown significantly, baptizing over 1,000 people and becoming an integral part of the community through various ministries and outreach efforts. With a mission centered on helping each other follow Jesus, First Christian Church emphasizes discipleship, generosity, and kingdom impact through their Relentless vision launched in January 2025. The church welcomes visitors from all backgrounds and stages of faith journey, offering both in-person and online Sunday gatherings along with various programs designed to help members grow spiritually and connect relationally.
