About Catholic Peoples Foundation

The Catholic People's Foundation serves the Diocese of Gallup, supporting the religious, educational, and charitable works of the Catholic Church across northwestern New Mexico and northeastern Arizona. Founded in 1998, the foundation raises and administers funds to support the 108,000 Catholics in the diocese, funding priests, Catholic schools, and social service organizations that serve diverse communities including Native Americans and various ethnic groups. The Diocese of Gallup, spread over 55,000 square miles, includes 52 parishes, 22 missions, 11 schools, and numerous ministries caring for the poor, elderly, homeless, expectant mothers, and those in recovery. The foundation actively seeks support through annual fundraising events and planned giving programs to sustain the Church's mission in one of America's poorest dioceses.
