About Harvest Ministries
Harvest Ministries in Roswell, New Mexico is a community-focused ministry dedicated to addressing food insecurity and supporting vulnerable populations in the regional area. Founded by Phil 'Rubie' Rubinstein, a retired cop, chef, and restaurant owner who began feeding homeless individuals from his pickup truck, the ministry has grown to serve hundreds of families annually. Beyond emergency food assistance, Harvest Ministries provides Biblical, financial, job, marriage, and general counseling referrals, operates shower and laundry facilities for those experiencing homelessness, and partners with fourteen other regional agencies to extend its reach. The church is supported by a network of area congregations including Christ's Church, Calvary Chapel, Gateway Church, and several Nazarene and Baptist communities, reflecting its collaborative approach to serving those in need.
