About Ksk Tibetan Buddhist Center

KSK Tibetan Buddhist Center in Santa Fe follows the Shangpa Kagyu and Karma Kagyu lineages of Tibetan Buddhism, with roots tracing back to the 11th-century teacher Khyungpo Naljor. Under the guidance of Venerable Lama Karma Dorje since 1982, and recently joined by Venerable Lama Mingma Sherpa, the center aspires to spread compassionate consciousness through Buddhist teachings and practices. KSK offers regular weekly practices including chanting meditation focused on Chenrezig and Green Tara, Sunday sitting meditation, and monthly observances. The center's focal point is the Bodhi Stupa, which is open to the public by request and during practices. The community welcomes visitors and provides a retreat room available for weekly rental, along with occasional housing for practitioners seeking deeper engagement with the teachings.
