About Faith Assembly of God
Faith Assembly of God in Aurora is an Assemblies of God congregation with roots dating to 1915, when a small group began meeting in an old lodge at East Seneca and Aurora Streets. It was organized in 1923 as Calvary Full Gospel and later became First Assembly of God when it incorporated in 1973. The church has worshiped in several places over the years, including a renovated former orphanage on West Seneca Street purchased in 1953. In 1998 the congregation voted to build a new ministry facility on Bostwick Road, moving into it in February 2000 and dedicating it that April. Ministries include children’s ministry, youth group, and small groups.
