About Church Of The Covenant
Church of the Covenant United Methodist, located in Averill Park, New York, is a welcoming Methodist congregation known affectionately as "The Round Church." Dress Code: Come just as you are—single, with a partner, with or without children, in jeans or in your Sunday Best. Service Format: Worship begins at 10:00 AM and includes hymns and choral music, prayers and scripture readings, and the pastor's message. Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of the month using bread and grape juice with gluten-free options available. Visitor Tips: Park in the upper lot off Route 43 or the lower lot off Orient Avenue; enter through the Sanctuary door on the right side of the round church. Children are always welcome, and childcare is available upon request. After the service, you're invited to the Social Hall for refreshments and fellowship on the first Sunday of the month.
