About Christ Church Bay Ridge
Christ Church Bay Ridge is a welcoming and inclusive Episcopal congregation located in Brooklyn that emerged in 2014 from the merger of two historic parishes. The church is deeply committed to spiritual growth, community service, and hospitality, with a mission rooted in diversity and expressed through active engagement with the neighborhood. Led by Rector Fr. Lawrence De Lion and supported by a talented music ministry under Stephen Elkins' direction, the parish offers weekly Sunday services at 10:30 a.m. and Wednesday healing services. The church features beautiful stained glass windows from its predecessor parish St. John's Fort Hamilton, creating a sacred space where visitors of all backgrounds are invited to encounter Christ and grow in faith.
