Canandaigua Churches in Action is a collaborative ministry of multiple area churches united since 2005 to address both spiritual and physical needs in the greater Canandaigua community. Motivated by Christ's love, the organization operates as the hands of Christ working together through direct services, advocacy, and education. Member churches include Crosswinds Wesleyan, First United Methodist Church, Pathway Community Church, St. Mary's, Zion Fellowship, Door To Hope, Good Shepherd Lutheran, Lifespring Community, and The United Church. The ministry operates a food pantry providing emergency assistance since 2006, a resource room connecting residents with community services, dental care programs, and health center services.
