About Glove House, Inc.
Glove House, Inc. is a not-for-profit youth advocacy organization founded in 1970 by professional boxer Norman 'Chuck' Jennings and his wife Nellie to serve young people in crisis. Based in Elmira, New York, the organization has evolved over more than five decades from operating a single group home to providing comprehensive, community-based services across multiple counties in central and western New York State. Glove House serves approximately 540 youth and adults through person-centered, trauma-informed approaches, including foster care, residential services, care management, and crisis stabilization. The organization has successfully served more than 10,000 youth and families, establishing a strong reputation in the Finger Lakes and Southern Tier regions for creating innovative programs that meet the diverse needs of struggling youth and their families.
