Salem Assembly of God in Elmont, New York is a thriving Assemblies of God congregation with roots dating back to 1992, when it began as South India Assembly of God serving the Keralite community. The church became affiliated with the General Council of the Assemblies of God in 1998 and took its current name, establishing its first permanent home in Elmont in 2001. Under the leadership of Pastor Dr. Manoj Thomas since July 2023, the church emphasizes biblical teaching, community service, and family fellowship in a welcoming environment.
