Fairport United Methodist Church is a progressive, welcoming Methodist congregation located in suburban Rochester, New York, dedicated to the belief that God loves all people without exception. The church became the first Methodist congregation in Monroe County to join the Reconciling Ministries Network in 2012, affirming full inclusion of LGBTQI+ individuals and celebrating diverse community members of all ages, races, and backgrounds. Under the pastoral leadership of Sam Smith, who began serving in July 2025, the church offers traditional Sunday worship services complemented by a robust music ministry led by Nicole Camilleri and comprehensive children's and youth programming. The congregation is actively engaged in service and mission work, including participation in Habitat for Humanity projects, and maintains a spiritually enriching labyrinth for prayer and meditation on the church grounds.
