About Our Saviour's Lutheran Church
Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Glen Head has served its community since its humble founding in 1945, when dedicated Lutherans established a congregation through the support of the Mission Board of the ELC. Rooted in Jesus Christ and the faith of its people, the church welcomes all people regardless of race, gender, ethnic background, sexual orientation, class, or age. The congregation gathers each Sunday at 10:00 a.m. for liturgy with music, accompanied by Sunday School and Confirmation classes. Communion is offered at all regular worship services, and the church hosts a range of educational and fellowship programs throughout the year, including choir rehearsals, men's and women's groups, and family retreats. Visitors are warmly invited to come and celebrate the church's history, present ministry, and future as it continues to make Christ known in Glen Head.
