About Catholic Guardian Society
Catholic Guardian Society is a human services organization rooted in the Catholic faith, serving more than 3,000 individuals and 1,400 families throughout New York regardless of background or belief. Located in Hampton Bays, New York, the organization delivers compassionate care through multiple signature programs including family permanency services, mental health counseling, developmental disability support, preventative family programs, and immigration services. Catholic Guardian was the first Catholic family foster care agency in the United States and remains one of the largest foster care providers in New York. The organization's mission centers on delivering care with compassion and respect, honoring the dignity of every person, and empowering children, families, and individuals to reimagine their lives with renewed hope. Through collaborative, evidence-based, and trauma-informed approaches, Catholic Guardian Services works to build stronger families and healthier communities across the region.
