Calvary Baptist Church of Jamaica, Queens, New York was organized in 1929 and has grown to become a leading religious institution in Southeast Queens. The church operates a 30,000 square-foot facility with a 1,500-seat main sanctuary and is deeply committed to community service through its food pantry, prison ministry, youth programs, and senior housing initiatives. Under the leadership of Reverend Victor T. Hall, Sr. since 1990, Calvary emphasizes knowing Christ and living in His freedom while serving hundreds of New Yorkers monthly through various outreach ministries. The church is affiliated with the American Baptist Churches, U.S.A. and the Progressive National Baptist Convention, and welcomes visitors to join their worship community.
