Church Des Artistes is a converted nineteenth-century Romanesque church located in Kingston, New York, perched above the Hudson River in a historic neighborhood. Rescued and restored in 1985 by artist Julie Hedrick and composer Peter Wetzler, the church has been thoughtfully renovated using upcycled materials and handmade elements created through the skilled work of artists and artisans. Since 2010, Church Des Artistes has operated as a guest house and retreat space, welcoming visitors from around the world who seek a relaxed, creative atmosphere. The property features a great hall with a Steinway Grand Piano, a private courtyard garden, and easy access to local parks, trails, restaurants, galleries, and cultural landmarks throughout Kingston's historic neighborhoods.
