About Old Dutch Church

Old Dutch Church is a Reformed congregation in Kingston, often referred to as “The Cathedral of Kingston.” Its roots on the present site reach back to 1660, when the original church structure was built. That early building was largely destroyed in the Esopus Indian raid of 1663, and the church was burned again during the American Revolution in October 1777. Today, the congregation’s mission includes offering God’s word, prayer, sacraments, community, education, music, sanctuary, care, and advocacy.
