About Lisbon Wesleyan Church
Lisbon Wesleyan Church is a Wesleyan congregation located in Lisbon, New York, dedicated to creating a welcoming environment where people can encounter God. The church's mission centers on introducing people to Jesus, helping them grow in their faith, and serving others according to their spiritual gifts. Led by Pastors Ray and Mary Selden since May 2024, the church offers worship services featuring a talented praise team and provides age-appropriate programming for children including nursery care and children's church. Beyond Sunday services, the church emphasizes spiritual growth through small groups that meet weekly during the day and throughout the week evenings, reflecting their belief that deeper discipleship happens in smaller community settings. The church is rooted in a 175-year-old Wesleyan tradition founded on biblical living and social responsibility, and they invite visitors to experience their relaxed, accepting atmosphere.
