About Christ Community Church of Lockport, NY
Christ Community Church is a Baptist congregation located in the heart of historic downtown Lockport at 140 Genesee Street, welcoming visitors with a relaxed and inclusive atmosphere. The church emphasizes becoming a Christ-centered, intergenerational, and multiethnic community where people feel accepted rather than judged. Their Sunday worship gathering at 10 am features contemporary worship designed to help spiritual seekers learn about Christian faith while enabling followers to deepen their connection with God. The church is intentionally sized to allow visitors to blend in or get involved as they prefer, supported by growth groups and various ministries for children, youth, and adults. First-time guests receive a complimentary book and welcome brochure, and the church takes a deliberate approach to making newcomers feel genuinely welcome in a safe, judgment-free environment.
