About North Shore Unitarian
The Unitarian Universalist Congregation at Shelter Rock in Manhasset is one of the largest UU faith communities in New York State, welcoming people from diverse backgrounds and beliefs into a vibrant, compassionate community. Founded in 1941 and located in Manhasset since 1986, the congregation brings together curious and compassionate thinkers and doers who explore life's big questions and put their values into action. Members gather for Sunday worship at 11 AM featuring music, reflection, and meditation, as well as Children's Worship where young people explore empathy and respect through stories and songs. The congregation also offers Soulful Sundown, an uplifting evening of live music and spoken word held on second Fridays. With a strong commitment to social justice, spiritual growth, and intergenerational community, Shelter Rock provides numerous opportunities for members to learn, grow, and serve together in a warm, welcoming environment.
