About Catskill Mountain Christian Center
Catskill Mountain Christian Center is a contemporary Anglican church located in Margaretville, New York, that traces its origins to a non-denominational charismatic Bible study in the early 1980s. The church describes itself as one built on love, welcoming a multi-generational and diverse community of believers from all walks of life. CMCC positions itself within the evangelical theological stream of Protestant Christianity, adhering to the Apostles' Creed and core doctrines of the Protestant Reformation, with a central focus on fulfilling Jesus' great commission to make disciples. The congregation is actively engaged in community outreach through senior ministry, nursing home visitation, food pantry support, and participation in the Greater Margaretville Area Interfaith Council. Worship services feature contemporary music performed with guitars, keyboards, and drums, creating an expressive atmosphere where congregants are invited to participate fully in ministry.
