About Guild of St Margaret
The Guild of St. Margaret is an outreach program of Grace Episcopal Church serving the hungry in Middletown with hot meals seven days a week. Since 1980, this soup kitchen has grown from volunteers preparing simple sandwiches to serving approximately 100 hot meals daily without charge, qualifications, or condescension. Operating continuously for over four decades, the ministry offers not only food but hospitality, assistance, and spiritual nourishment to guests from the community. Volunteers from throughout the area donate their time and effort, while funding comes from grants and donations from organizations including The United Way, Episcopal Charities, and the Regional Food Bank of Northeast New York. The Guild welcomes all who are hungry and in need of support.
